Business Development Manager - Media Sales

A Business Development Manager in the Media Sales (Direct Marketing) industry is responsible for, first and foremost, generating revenue from new customers and offering them tailored solutions specific to their direct marketing requirements.
Other duties typically include Identifying high volume users of direct marketing services i.e. agencies, charities and corporates and to deliver customers a specialised and tailor-made solution depending on their specific needs.
A successful Business Development Manager requires the following traits:
- a proven track record in revenue generation
- ability to deliver revenue from new opportunities while maintaining your newly created accounts
- exposure in a direct marketing environment with experience in selling into agencies, charities or corporates (preferred but not mandatory)
- a strong desire to delight and surprise clients, and a genuine interest in Business Development Managing
