A Financial Controller supervises all facets of accounting and financial reporting within an organisation thus plays a very important role in the everyday functioning of a business.
As part of an accounting team, a Financial Controller is typically responsible for:
- The preparation of budgets and business plans.
- Month end procedures and management reporting.
- Analysis of P & L
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Monthly journals and account reconciliations
- Cost control and purchasing
- Liaising with other departmental managers to ensure understanding and profitability is maintained.

- Experience as a Senior Accountant/Financial Controller
- A relevant Accounting Degree and/or CPA/CA
- Excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry.
