To become a hair model, aspiring individuals typically require long hair that has never been dyed or permed, and in good condition (deep conditioning treatments done etc.) and as with all other jobs, a good attitude.
The eHow website has some great tips on how to become a hair model.
With the 32nd Annual Hair Expo Australia coming up in Sydney over the June long weekend, many hair salons, boutiques and accessories (hair clips, extensions etc.) are looking for hair models to work at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre over the three days.
Great Lengths is looking for models to become part of their Designer Hair Trends Collection 2008 on both the Centre Stage shows and the Great Lengths exhibition stand. Designer outfits and make-up artists will be present to dress and prepare models while refreshments will also be provided by Great Lengths.
While no paid jobs are offered, models will receive a full head of hair extensions valued at over $1500.
Requirements: You will need to be available the entire weekend as well as on the 6th June for preparation. Model briefing will take place on Monday 12th May between 11am and 2pm which is compulsory.
