For the outdoors enthusiasts a community reforestation project is seeking employee’s for community work based in Ecuador for a period of four weeks. The pay will be approximately $820 for the four weeks. Two weeks will be spent doing reforestation aid work the following two weeks spent doing community service work. Included in the placement cost is a visit to the famous Otavalo Indian Crafts and Textiles Market and nearby Cuicoha Lagoon. This sounds like an awesome opportunity to combine some useful aid work with a travel experience of a lifetime.
Reforestation Project:
- Collect saplings on the top of the mountains.
- Planting seeds in bags
- Clean area with machetes
- Clean the tree already planted
- To clean the pads
- Make a bridge in the end of the pasture lands.
Community Service Project:
Teaching some English classes in the schools or in nearby communities, painting a school. According to your CV, we may be able to find some work in nurseries, in schools for disabled children... We will attempt to utilize any individuals' skills or expertise to maximum benefit in any parts of the project that best utilise their skills.

Previous hotel experience is not essential; however we do prefer someone with experience in customer service/guest relations. Most shifts will be on receptionist & housekeeper (7am – 11pm), however you must alos be willing and able to cover night porter (11pm-7am) and breakfast café (7am-11am) if required. The variety this role provides will keep you on your toes and give you a broad range of skills applicable to all industries. The hours are flexible as we are open 24/7!
