Personal Assistant

Personal Assistants are deadline driven and assertive individuals who coordinate and assist senior staff in many sectors and industries. Duties are varied depending on the industry and can involve ad hoc tasks plus any other requirements set forth by the employer.
For example, a personal assistant in the financial services sector is usually responsible for:
- Organising appointments and meetings
- Administration support
- Liaising with clients
- Coordinating and managing reports
- Organising travel arrangements
On the other hand, a personal assistant in a law firm would typically be responsible for:
- Typing (both copy and audio)
- Filling
- Photocopying
- Diary management
- Answering telephones
- Drafting correspondence
- Other duties as required
To be successful as a personal assistant in the corporate world, previous experience in a similar is looked keenly upon, as are excellent communication skills and attention to detail, intermediate to advanced PC skills, a positive mature nature and excellent working attitude and a corporate presentation.
