Your Systems Engineering skills are urgently needed for a great role with a small and growing systems integrator in North Sydney.
Do you enjoy taking initiative and thinking outside of the square? In this exciting role you will primarily be involved in delivery, but also have presales and support responsibilities.
You will be responsible for Professional Services Delivery in the following areas:
- IT Infrastructure architectural design
- IT Infrastructure detailed design
- IT Infrastructure management tool implementation
- IT infrastructure disaster recovery and business continuity
- Data storage solutions
- Database installation and licensing
- IT infrastructure troubleshooting and failure recovery (Tier 2 support)
- ITIL processes for IT infrastructure
You will also have presales responsibilities in:
- Provision of technical support at sales calls, product and service demonstrations, proposal and tender presentations
- Preparation of technical content with proposals and tenders
- Preparation of technical and project management estimates and budgets
To succeed in this role you will need to have:
- Strong experience in a Systems Engineering role, with experience in an Systems Integrator environment.
- Strong experience (3-5 yrs) architecture & design, delivery, and support of Sun products.
- Strong working knowledge of Sun Solaris
- Certifications for Sun will be highly regarded.
- Certification and experience with Cisco technologies will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills are required.
