These people want jobs in Sydney
July 25th 2008 00:30
Getting a job usually requires applying to a company that has posted an available position. There are some people, however, that want to be a little proactive, jump in there and shake it up a little. These people are the same ones that hold their birthday at a nightclub and video tape it, screaming woo hoo! with a selection of identically dressed friends.
Putting yourself out into the employment world is easy now that we have the internet.... take a look at these Gumtree ads and see if there's a young worker here that you'd like to hire:
20 male wanna job
He's got a picture, which you can see on the link, and he 'wanna job'. So give it to him! I'm not sure where people from overseas learn to use the word 'wanna' and 'gonna'... they must take specialized courses in casual English, to learn to rub shoulders with the common man.
3rd yr bachelor of communications/ bachelor of laws
Another picture, this time smiling. He says "Ideally im highly suited to the law and communications industry as i have experience in liaising with clients both corporate and generic."
Personally, I can't stand people writing 'im'. What is that? You want to work in a law firm by misspelling 'I am'?.
19 yr old female looking for part-time job
She's looking for an office job and she has experience. Certainly, one of you readers will hire her, but I urge you not to look at the available cleavage and let that influence your decision...
